As museum professionals, we endeavor to preserve pieces of creation, both natural and man-made, for future generations. Though we know it would be hubris to believe we can stop the ravages of time, we still feel it a worthy task to do what we can.  Through the application of judgment, skill, and science, we work to maintain the wonders we are privileged to experience and care for.

Mountmaking is, at its core, a discipline of preventive conservation. All methods used and taught by Hascall Consulting are based in current standards of art conservation and materials testing.
